Responsible for ensuring team’s completion of day to day operations including but not limited to stocking and ordering medical supplies for all units of the hospital and Health & Wellness Pavilion, checking in and delivering pharmaceuticals, stocking linen for all units in the hospital and Pavilion, stocking scrub machines in the hospital OR and L&D departments and Pavilion’s outpatient surgery center, receipt and delivery of packages from FedEx and UPS, delivering and collecting mail, cycling… Show more Responsible for ensuring team’s completion of day to day operations including but not limited to stocking and ordering medical supplies for all units of the hospital and Health & Wellness Pavilion, checking in and delivering pharmaceuticals, stocking linen for all units in the hospital and Pavilion, stocking scrub machines in the hospital OR and L&D departments and Pavilion’s outpatient surgery center, receipt and delivery of packages from FedEx and UPS, delivering and collecting mail, cycling O2 tanks, checking and restocking supplies for crash carts as needed, and completing monthly room audits checking for expired products and correcting any potential regulatory violations. Approval of timecards at the end of each pay period and approving or retracting requested PTO based on staffing. Responsible for monitoring reported supply chain disruptions and manually ordering allocated items or substitutes for MBO items. Printed and distributed new scan labels for item changes communicated down from supply chain. Worked with Pediatric nursing leadership to add supplies to their supply rooms prior to the PEDS unit opening in fall 2023. Called potential candidates, set up and conducted interviews, made hiring recommendations, trained new associates and set up with a peer to continue training, and followed up on online regulatory training and in-person role training. Conducted one on one meetings with associates, completed and delivered annual reviews, and conducted disciplinary coaching as necessary. Completed quarterly scrub inventory with CleanCare representative and worked through any linen / scrub service issues with them. Took part in daily morning calls with hospital leadership, weekly Nursing Manager meetings, monthly meetings for Emergency Operations, and quarterly meetings for Core Behavior Survey action plans. Planned and executed supply room remodels by reviewing par utilization forms and adjusting par levels (inventory) based on purchase history. Show less
