Supervised production schedules, production quality and on time delivery. Diligently maintained safety and quality standards. Implemented root cause analysis and corrective actions to remove production constraints and improve product quality. Maintained and enforced a safe and clean working environment at all times. Enforced a culture of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement while providing operational leadership. Assessed operations and made recommendations to improve safety, increase productivity, enhance performance and reduce costs. Troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment in manufacturing. Inspection and created test equipment to increase productivity. Constructed, rebuilt, repaired, troubleshooting and testing of electronic circuits, PLC's, wiring of panel boxes and hot melt equipment.In 2008, I traveled to Suzhou China to help setup the Kan-Ban system and train the new employees on how to build, wire and test our equipment as we moved one of the production lines to this new plant. In 2009, I traveled back to Suzhou to bring the second production line of a small hydraulic/pneumatic driven table top hot melt equipment. I had to training the employees how to build, wire, test and trouble shoot the new equipment. I also worked with the engineering to improve of the design of the first unit from 2008. We redesigned the cabinet and access points to help the operators during maintenance. In late 2014, I designed a new hot melt equipment to fill a void in the market. I made the first prototype unit and shipped it to Suzhou for the design team there to create the 3D models and start sourcing parts. In 2015, I traveled back to Suzhou to bring on the third production line of small gear driven and hydraulic driven hot melt systems. While there we finalized on the design of the prototype unit and help with procurement of machine parts and PCB's for production orders.
