Along with my long-time friends Seth Wescott, 2 Time Olympic Gold Medalist and Chase Mckendry, former Head of Sugarloaf Ski Patrol, we opened the Rack BBQ Ski Bar and Restaurant in 2005. Since then The Rack is now one of most icon ski bars in the East. Notably wining the prestigious Outside Magazine "Adventure Apre´s Ski Bar of The Year, 2013." I had stored 8,000 dice (from a failed attempt at making skiing game) in my moms closet for nearly 5 years. She needed the space and threatened to throw them out. So I picked up the dice, brought them home and dumped them on my dining room table, giving myself a mission to invent a game that just used dice. With in minutes I had the game down. With an investment of 15K from my best friend Jeff Duke, we made the first commercial version of the game and launch "Strunk Games", which reached $1M in annual sales at its peak. Stack and our other products were sold in more than 2,800 stores in the US, and distributed to 14 countries. A notable event, we bought 14 million dice in one shipment and convinced the bank to fund the purchase of the dice, based on the dice were equity by itself, along with a few purchase orders from LL Bean, they approved it! You can't do that any more. We closed Strunk Games in 1998, to pursue other interest, yet the games live on.
