Many of these years during the start of my time at JCI were spent as a Process Engineer. I spent time developing processes through the scientific molding strategy and the use of tools such as DOE and Six Sigma. JCI was highly focused on advancing their work force through training and one that directly impacted my duties were the courses though RJG Master Molder.Along with the launch responsibilities I was also responsible for production processes. JCI was highly focused on advancing their work force through training and one that directly impacted my duties were the courses though RJG Master Molder.Along with the launch responsibilities I was also responsible for production processes. Production efforts focused on setting goals and leading a team to impact key measures. Exotic injection molding processes were common and the use of automation was highly valued at JCI. Utilizing these technologies was an excellent opportunity.My later years at JCI were in a Tooling Engineer position. Being a part of mold building, mold design, launch process and production process were all the base skills that I could carry into this role. I never landed into a role at JCI without having the experience and time put into value added development. That opportunity to grow and develop was a great part of the culture at JCI. Show less

From general machinist to tool builder assistant this was a solid base for my career choice. During my years at Pittsburg State I was able to intern as a mold designer. Having this understanding to machine components, build tooling and design enabled me to have a well rounded interpretation of tool manufacturing process.
