Responsible for special projects in facility operations at the Sun Devil Fitness Complex. Support staff involved in facility operations and outdoor field maintenance.

• Managed new 60,000 sqft Sun Devil Fitness Complex; including swimming pool, sport courts, locker rooms, fitness studios, six acers of field space, full time staff of three, and staff of 110 student employees.• Served as lead staff and consultant for construction of the new $25 Million Sun Devil Fitness complex. Selected construction company and architect for completion of project.• Served as liaison to custodial service provider (Olympus), maintenance provider (Aramark), and ground maintenance (Brightview) for Sun Devil Fitness Complex. Selected from possible vendors and worked weekly to maintain facility in clean and safe manner. Overseeing repair issues, warranty complications, special event preparation and all other staffing and operating issues for the operation of the facility.• Oversaw staff related to programming, membership services, sports programming and front desk operations. Managed budget of $1.3M including payroll, equipment, and repairs. Coordinated incoming rentals, facility use agreements and contracts to be signed by Dean of Students.

• Serve as first ever full time fitness professional staff member at the Polytechnic campus. • Managed 10,000 sq ft facility, 240,000 gallon swimming pool, several outdoor sports areas for campus.• Build program to benefit students on campus. Provide programming and fitness opportunities for ASU students. Fitness classes, weight lifting space, summer swimming pool and intramural sports leagues.• Staff started with 10 students and one grad student and grew to 45 students and four grad students over seven years. Budget grew from $35,000 to $250,000.
