Directed all custodial, policy, financial, and management aspects of logistics, inventory and distribution for international specialty fixture supplier, affiliated clientele, and contracted 3PL providers. Serve as primary point of contact for internal personnel and affiliated clientele with respect to inventory, distribution, and logistics related issues, including in-transit, on hand, and obsolete inventory across sales, production and logistics-fulfillment. Member of Senior Management Team. Oversaw management of Logistics Fulfillment Department, which includes six direct reports consisting of three managers and three coordinators. Immediate impacts were widespread including re-vamped freight/3PL spend management policies that netted savings 1st year savings in excess of $300,000. Fiscal Year 2010 projections indicated expected savings of over 1MM.

Directed all facets of operations and purchasing management for $25 MM specialty building products supplier based in Seattle, Washington. Duties included oversight of purchasing and sourcing management, IT administration, inventory management, and direct supervision of 12 employees across four branches in two states. Hired straight out of college into an inside sales position, I displayed strong supply chain acumen and was quickly promoted to Purchasing Manager in 2002. As Purchasing Manager, I developed purchasing standards and guidelines to help subordinates meet purchasing objectives and improve internal and external customer demands. I also developed and implemented an inventory management system that raised inventory accuracy from 86% to 96 % during my tenure. As the company evolved and my responsibilities increased, I was promoted to Operations Manager in 2004.
