Since graduating in the UK with a PhD in physics, Jeff Webb has worked in a variety of universities in Japan, China, South Korea, Thailand and Malaysia teaching physics and engineering subjects, and has carried out research in ferroelectrics, graphene nanostructures and quantum cascade lasers. He has published around 80 international journal and conference papers and has been a keynote speaker at several international conferences. He has worked as one of the founding faculty members of NMITE (New Model Institute of Engineering and Technology), new university being set up in Hereford, UK. Jeff holds Chartered Physicist status with the Institute of Physics and has a PGCHE (Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education). He currently works as a patent examiner at the UK Intellectual Property Office
