Graduate of CSU in Fort Collins, Colorado with a BS Degree in Construction Management. After Graduation, I worked with Morrison Knudsen Corporation in Boise Idaho as a Project Engineer, working primarily on scheduling and billing for the light rail extension project in San Diego. After several years with MK, I relocated back to Colorado where I spent the next 19 years of my career with Ludvik Electric.During this career at Ludvik, I developed the skills for evaluating contract documents including plans, specifications, addendums and RFP’s for constructability and areas to reduce risk and increase profitability. I analyzed project estimates to prepare the project budgets, develop schedules of value, create project schedules and prepare billings. Abilities also include negotiating material procurements, oversee the submittal process, BIM and shop drawing generation. Prepare site logistics plans, monthly gross margin statements, manpower forecasting, change order pricing and change order settlement. Manage the project closeout process, O&M’s preperation, review as-built drawings, punch list items and warranty issues.I believe project planning and success rely on ensuring daily communication with team members, provide mentoring to project engineers, conduct regular meetings with superintendents and field supervisors to ensure that everyone has the plan and follows the plan.
