Responsibilities and Scope• Develops and sustains collaborative relationships with retail customers and Kellogg business management by building trust, rapport and initiating and maintaining open communication and follow- through• Penetrates accounts by actively identifying customer needs and expectations and utilizing the total Kellogg offering to meet their needs• Demonstrates an understanding of Kellogg and customer economics and utilizes this knowledge to drive sales and profitable opportunities • Responds to customer needs by communicating solutions and providing guidance in the decision-making process• Understands the importance of Kellogg brand equity, including skus, position, performance and considers this when developing sales plans and strategies• Achieves assigned metric goals in budgets, returns, refusals and unsaleables on a monthly and quarterly basis• Provides District coverage for District Manager during absence• Collaborates with District Manager on creative sales ideas to drive success for the team• Mentoring and training new or intern sales employees

Charlotte North DistrictCompetencies:• Utilizes knowledge of customers and relationships across multiple levels of the customer organization to facilitate the penetration of customer accounts• Utilizes knowledge of customer and Kellogg economics to highlight business opportunities and solutions and create initiatives that drive sales and profitability• Ensures that District Team possess a clear understanding of market economics and how they drive sales, service and profitability• Develops relationships with team and customers to facilitate mutually beneficial business opportunities by building trust, rapport and engagement on an individual and team level• Serves as a strategic partner to customer group at the DM level by addressing needs, developing solutions that drive business results and helping customers meet their long-term goals • Utilize strategic partner success to facilitate individual and team success within the district across all accountabilities• Reviews and modifies business plans to ensure alignment with Kellogg’s sales strategy based on changing marketplace dynamics, policies and competitive strategiesSales:• Execution and accomplishment of budget in excess of 20 million dollars encompassing 200 stores• Management of 15 sales reps and 30+ merchandisers• Store level, District, Account and VP level relationships with customersOperations: • Work with the distribution/operations team partners on developing efficient delivery schedules, routes, itineraries and communication with Sales team• District Reorganization aligning employees, routes, GSV and truck itineraries to best deliver Kellogg company budgeting goals Human Resources:• Performance Management and Career Development• Conduct field level work with regularly with all employees to encompass: training, coaching, career development and accountability• District Review (business and personnel) twice yearly• Interviewing, Hiring and Training for all full-time employees
