I founded, grew, and developed one of the most successful and respected wedding and commercial photography studios in the US. I currently lead a team of 6 full-time employees and 20+ contract photographers from our custom 4,000 square foot studio space, with my chief day-to-day responsibilities being leading and inspiring each team member and cultivating a healthy culture while driving the marketing initiatives, strategic direction, revenue growth, decision-making, and future development opportunities of the company.I consistently ensure that all members of my team and all areas of my company are delivering the best possible product to our varied customers and clientele, while consistently improving our systems to support efficiency and improve our final product. I'm a respected thought leader in the photography space, speaking at conferences and educating photographers through paid online programs, courses, and digital products for over a decade. Through this, I have become well-versed in online marketing, advertising, and social media strategies.

While working with Kiss, I helped the company achieve a solid growth trajectory by unifying communication channels between departments, creating clear processes and procedures, and taking a revitalized and fresh approach to marketing. I moved the team from Basecamp to Asana as a team communication software which began a culture of moving projects forward with clear action steps and accountability. A highlight of working with Kiss was implementing the Traction / EOS framework as a system of creating a vision, prioritizing people, following the data, solving issues, and putting processes in place. This brought focus and clarity to the company and enabled a unified approach to company goals across departments.

At ShootProof I served as a liaison between development and marketing and “real world” customers, bringing a unique and multi-faceted perspective to every idea and initiative with real-life experience regarding how ideas would play out for different photographers. Due to my experience running three different photography brands, serving distinctly different markets my perspective on product and features was very valuable. Consistently encouraged a balance between keeping the customer as a high priority while seeing the data for what is, and using data to drive decisions.

Worked as part of a bi-coastal team, focusing on execution of analytical testing according to defined standard operation procedures and testing protocols in support of Technical Development. Facilitated process development by providing data to support experiments carried out within Process Development. Provided feedback on assay performance and testing needs. Communicated frequently and actively with submitters.

Was part of the team that oversaw the High School camp, which saw 1,000 students per week during the summer months come through the program. My chief responsibility was to the counselors that slept in the cabins with the campers, making sure they were equipped and encouraged to do great work with the students.
