In the present age of technology advancement, the availability of reliable and trustworthy resources to aid knowledge-based institutions in research and education becomes challenging. Sustainable and focused management of digital assets with catalogs and curating to serve diverse consumers is essential. Here my role as a Digitization and Access Strategist comes into play. Driving digital conversion projects by blending the right proportions of community, content, and culture with IT is my specialty. I believe digital transformation plays a critical role in facilitating the availability of reliable resources for varied consumers, including students, researchers, and faculty alike. As a technically astute executive, I am known for revolutionizing the institutional or library assets with digital transformations to preserve and maintain the content for different consumers in knowledge-dependent fields. Some of my achievements include:• Championed the delivery of complex open-access projects for producing and maintaining award-winning educational and cultural content for both regional and national audience.• Accomplished the complex migration of a legacy hosted system to an open-source repository by directing cross-functional teams, https://digitallibrary.tulane.edu/ - a single platform digital library with efficient vendor negotiations and data management system that significantly improved service delivery.• Pioneered the launch of a Tulane Journal publishing product line that provided a "Tulane hosted" open journal systems platform and full workflow suite of tools for peer-reviewed academic journals. The product line grew to twelve new journals within five years.• Represented the university and library in several high-impact public meetings and conferences. Have several conference presentations and papers to credit.I am open to novel opportunities, whereby I can leverage my unique blend of widespread IT expertise, business insight, management acumen, and tactical leadership skills for executing the digital conversion strategies in alignment with the business mission, policy, and practice with significant bottom-line impact.
