I have personally seen the impacts of supply chain disruptions on a shipper’s time, profit, and inventory turns. Delays and damages don’t just impact one end-customer, because the fall-out of:• finding a root cause• identifying a solution• playing damage control with clients, and• dealing with returns, re-inspection, reshipping & rescheduling…can eat up to 4 hours from 6 or more of your departments.
