My first job at KTVL was producing the morning newscasts and weather person (ask me about the typhoon). I was promoted to reporter and enjoyed traveling all over Southern Oregon shooting my own video and coming back to the station to edit the tape. At the end of my KTVL career I was co-anchoring the weekend newscasts.

I learned some important skills at KBND, including how to work fast and efficiently. As a reporter, I was expected to produce five stories a day, three different versions of each. I also anchored newscasts as needed and produced and hosted a daily, one-hour talk show during the noon hour.
