My role as a Government & External Relations Fellow includes- Research to support the Government & External Relations team's policy initiatives, specifically on issues of immigration, prison education, religious freedom, and higher education- Manage the CCCU's immigration and prison education policy portfolios- Attend external meetings on Capitol Hill and with coalition partners on our legislative portfolio issues and report back- Draft and edit memos, official letters, emails on behalf of the President of the CCCU to a variety of people, including members of Congress, federal agency leaders and presidents of CCCU institutions- Schedule congressional meetings for our annual Presidents Conference Show less
