Notably:- Pets on Trains: Allows small dogs and cats to ride on Amtrak for a nominal fee if stowed under the seat in a pet carrier- The NEPA Reciprocity Act: Allows states already participating in the NEPA delegation program to certify their state environmental review laws as equally or more stringent than NEPA to streamline the project review process and expedite project completion.Authored the Federal Asset Sale and Transfer Act (PL 114-287), which was signed into law and directed that a board be appointed to oversee the liquidation of thousands of surplus government properties, saving millions in taxpayer dollars and streamlining government properties management.The 2018 WRDA bill included my New WATER Act financing program for Reclamation projects and set up a Memorandum of Understanding for Reclamation and EPA to finance and select water storage projects for financing.(Full listing of legislative accomplishments available upon request)
