I am an IT professional with 10+ years experience working with a multitude of services, technologies, computing platforms, and more. I've mainly been working in the higher education and non-profit sectors, I currently work as the Director of IT Systems for the University Center of Lake County, a 501(c)(3) consortium of 12 Illinois universities and colleges providing Bachelor completion, Master's, and PhD programs (on site, online, and hybrid methods of delivery). Our goal is to provide the best educational experience in a tailored, convenient, and cost-effective way to all types of students. We also work closely with other local non-profits and businesses to make available a high-quality conference center experience.I have experience and currently do work with Windows & systems administration, Windows SBS and server management, Citrix virtualization, budgeting and implementation planning, software & hardware installations, customer/vendor/partner relations management, and more.Competencies: Python, Citrix PVS, Microsoft/Windows administration, management, networking, Meraki/Cisco networking administration, Active Directory & Office 365 administration, IT staff leadership, infrastructure and business analysis.I have many interests that sometimes get hard to keep up with including: Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing, fly fishing, reading/writing (have published poems), hiking/camping/exploring anywhere remote, and pretty much anything outdoors.
