Intego SA is the French development subsidiary of NHI, and is the development team that created the Intego product line. Intego is the leading provider of antivirus and internet protection for the Mac, iPad and iPhone.

Most recently, D.L. Baron, founder of Experticity, hired a new President & CEO, Jeff Erwin, to manage and grow the company.  Responsible for the identification of new strategic businesses Network General could leverage into using their technology and lead position in the network diagnostics and network analyzer market. Developed new multi-tiered support and consulting service for company that provided network diagnostics and troubleshooting to customers. Pioneered their entry into the use of graphical UI for distribution of information from analyzer data.

 Started and ran company to develop competitive product in the network protocol analyzer markets. Raised four rounds of venture capital and created object oriented network analyzer based on OS/2 (good idea at the time ). Established world-wide channel and distribution for product. The product won several industry awards for ‘best of show’ and numerous shoot-out product reviews. Managed company through successful acquisition to market leader Network General in 1994.

Started and ran software consulting firm. Finished the development of the original NDIS network driver specification, working with 3Com, Compaq and Microsoft. Became the world-wide certification lab for NDIS drivers for Microsoft in 1988.

Did a wide variety of things at Intel from designing Multibus boards (disk controllers, 8089 data transfer boards, bubble memory cards) to working on the RMX/80 and RMX/86 operating systems. FInal position was to managing the development of the first Intel development systems in the 86/310 and 86/380. Both systems used 80286 processors and RMX/86.Andy Grove was 'Mr. Clean" and used to holler at us about having messy cubicles.

First job out of college. Wrote 8080 assembler and text editor for the National Semiconductor Starplex development system.
