I am an independent study teacher for the San Diego County Office of Education where I work for the SDCOE Juvenile Court and Community Schools. I was an adjunct professor of educational technology for California State University San Marcos in the school of education (2007-2016). For the three years, I worked with the single-subject program and the joint doctoral program (UCSD/CSUSM) to facilitate, not only the integration of technology, but promoting the power of the personal learning network (PLN) for learning and personal/professional growth. For five years (2014-2019), I worked as a featured speaker and summit lead for EdTechTeam, a global network of educational technologists dedicated to improving the world’s education systems using the best technology and learning principles available. Besides technology integration, another passion in my practice is to promote and integrate ideas of social justice and educational equity in schools, classrooms, curriculum, and communities. My work isn't what I do, it's who I am!
