Instinet acquired Blockcross (Division of State Street Corporation)

Blockcross Division was acquired by Instinet in Aug 2017.• Provided client service to over 200 institutional electronic trading clients, including hedge funds and top money managers, resulting in high retention rates.• Coordinated with other groups in the bank to cross-sell State Street’s suite of products to existing clients.• Worked with top client, Voya Investments, to create commission tracking application that integrated with their order management system, allowing the client to allocate research commissions more effectively and have overnight (T+1) look at status of research budgets. Voya increased trading over 200 percent in the first year after installation.• Led a team that converted 80+ new soft dollar accounts to State Street during the acquisition.
