Led Bossa Nova's pivot to a SaaS-only offering as we delivered AI/ML solutions to the world's largest retailers and brands.

Led the product team responsible for deploying autonomous shelf-scanning robots to over 600 locations across North America and Europe. Focusing on hardware and operations, we delivered the system stability and scalability required to support a fleet of that magnitude.

Built the product management organization at CBCInnovis from the ground up and led the team through the acquisition of Factual Data which essentially merged the two largest providers of consumer credit and verification services in the US.

Brought one of the first One Time Passcode solutions, now known as FailSafe®, to market which revolutionized the way financial institutions managed identity verification and fraud prevention.

Sharpened Product Management skills and implemented best practices. Worked closely with engineering teams through a transition from legacy mainframe systems to Cloud infrastructure and web based UIs.

Became the voice of the customer. Focused on understanding how customers were using Innovis products along with the value they were getting. Began to work with development teams to provide recommendations and test new features.

I moved back to Pittsburgh in 2006 and was looking for a career change. I started as an entry level analyst at CBCInnovis and quickly progressed through the ranks of team lead, supervisor and manager. This is where I really started to focus on the customer experience, from a product perspective and also throughout the various teams within operations. Our offerings included both B2B and B2C products which was a great learning experience.

I worked in hospitality throughout college which taught me the basic principles of customer service and the value of each and every interaction with your customers. I moved from Pittsburgh to Florida after college and was able to transfer to a Sheraton in Ft Lauderdale. Over the years, I did a little bit of everything; restaurant, bartending, kitchen, front desk, driving the shuttle, catering. In 2002 I settled into a role as Banquet Manager. I did not realize it at the time but this was my introduction to product management. I was responsible for delivering events to meet customer needs; everything from small business meetings to large extravagant wedding receptions. We would document customer requirements and work cross functionally with all of the other teams within the hotel to deliver the desired outcomes.
