Senior Vice President
CurrentJeff Harer serves as the senior vice president of finance for CJ Schwan’s. His is responsible for business unit finance (Consumer Brands, Food Service, Strategic Supplier Solutions, and International), Global Supply Chain finance (Manufacturing, Logistics, Planning, and Fulfillment), Shared Services finance (IT, R&D, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Legal) and Corprate finance (Executive Reporting, Board & Investor Relations, and Annual & Long-Range Planning). He also led Integrated Business Planning for the enterprise for two years on an interim basis. Jeff is a global business leader with extensive experience in finance, strategy, transformation, planning, quality engineering and process management. Most recently, he served as corporate vice president of finance and transformation for global operations, supply chain, innovation and sustainability at Cargill. During his time with Cargill he led teams across multiple regions, businesses and functional areas. Prior to joining Cargill, Jeff held finance leadership roles of increasing scope and responsibility at Procter & Gamble in strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, sales, operations and supply chain. Jeff began his career at Emerson Electric as an electrical engineer with a focus in quality management and statistical process control. Jeff earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota and an MBA in finance and marketing from the University of Notre Dame. He served as President for his graduating class at Notre Dame and Chaired the Corporate Advisory Board for Notre Dame’s Graduate Business Programs for five years.
