  Having over 35 years of experience in selling and servicing audio electronics Jeff knows open reel machines. He was an authorized dealer and service technician for Technics, Sony, Pioneer, Marantz, Bang, and Olufsen as well as other major manufacturers from the 1970s, 80s and 90s. Jeff's love for making something old once again new started with the restoration of vintage automobiles. He could dismantle a 1958 Bonneville, taking it to a bare metal frame and a pile of parts and put it back together in better condition then when it was new. Now Jeff gives the same kind attention to vintage audio. Technics Reel to Reels were ruggedly built to last and Jeff is giving the decks a new lease on life; the sound of these analog machines is rich and smooth. Through internal modifications to improve the record and playback mechanisms, electronics and circuitry J-Corder offers a tape deck that outperforms the original specifications of the Technics decks. Each deck is bench tested for quality control and all of them come with a 12 month warranty. All decks are assembled by hand and customized to the customer’s wishes. Using finishes such as automotive paint, wood veneer, and carbon fiber allow for the decks to fit in any sound system or interior design.
