CurrentJeff Mason is the Vice President and Group Leader of Architecture and Building Engineering. In this role he leads one of Mead & Hunt's largest, fastest growing groups. He oversees the operations of the Group, which includes architecture, interior design, engineering planning, construction in diverse markets across the country.Until October 2018, Jeff Mason was the Portland office Department Manager leading the project management, production and development of architectural-engineering projects. He is well experienced in project management, civil and structural engineering, planning, and cost estimating. He specializes in managing multi-discipline professional services projects. His experience is focused in the aviation industry, including the issues associated with joint civilian-military airfields. Jeff’s approach to project management is focused on establishing clear goals at the outset of a project, and utilizing thorough and effective communication to align the work of Mead & Hunt with the client’s goals and expectations. He has received extensive training in the effective delivery of professional engineering services and uses this training to provide and coordinate a team’s expertise and capabilities for our clients’ benefit.Jeff's management experience includes taxiway, apron, site infrastructure, utility, geographic information system (GIS), heliport, storm water and master planning projects. He also has extensive experience managing facility design projects, such as airport traffic control towers, aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) facilities, aircraft hangars, terminals and vehicle maintenance facilities.
