Company purchased by Veolia Environment in 1999.

Assumed positions of increasing responsibility in both legal and business capacities with large publicly traded environmental services firm, commencing as Senior Attorney and achieving promotions to Assistant General Counsel, Director of Southern Region Corporate Development, and Southern Regional Counsel.As Southern Regional Counsel during 1992, oversaw all legal concerns in region, with emphasis on contracts, project development, zoning and permitting, acquisitions, environmental compliance, real estate and legislation.As Director of Southern Region Corporate Development during 1990 to 1992, managed the company's corporate development activities and 14 personnel in a 12-state area. Completed acquisitions of 17 businesses and managed the development of seven regional landfill projects and five landfill expansions. Secondary responsibilities included strategic planning, coordination of lobbying and legislative activities, and contracting.As Assistant General Counsel in 1989 and 1990, managed all legal concerns related to the company's acquisitions, mergers, contracts, real estate, zoning and project development issues.
