I'm an experienced and creative executive with a proven track record of building strong teams and company cultures that deliver measurable business results. I enjoy working in the trenches with the team to solve tough problems and make a big impact on the business. I have a diverse range of experiences with B2C and B2B across a variety of industries, including software, parking, automotive, consumer packaged goods, media, and healthcare.I had an amazing 5-year run at ParkMobile, where I started as CMO, then later became the Head of Product and eventually CEO of the organization. During my time there, we grew from 8 million app users to over 50 million and were ranked #3 in the navigation category of the app store, only behind Google Maps and Waze. Before ParkMobile, I was CMO at QASymphony (now called Tricentis after a merger) during a time of explosive growth as the company went from a scrappy startup to a leader in the software testing industry, raising over $50 million in venture funding. I also held senior marketing leadership roles at PGi and AutoTrader.I started my career grinding it out in the NYC advertising industry at large global agencies like Saatchi & Saatchi and Havas, working on a diverse variety of brands, including Tide, Cascade, Fruit Roll-Ups, HBO, Pepsi, Michelin, Office Depot, Rockport, and Hasbro. I eventually led all digital advertising efforts for the Volvo brand and had the unique opportunity to develop the ad campaign that launched Howard Stern on Sirius Satellite Radio in 2005.I received my BA from American University in Washington, DC. During my time there, I was a White House Intern for the Clinton Administration. I later received my MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. My first book, How Not to Suck at Marketing, was published by How2Conquer in 2021. I speak at many industry events and have been featured in AdAge, Forbes, CMO.com, Fast Company, and several top podcasts. I live in Atlanta with my amazing wife, two adorable daughters, and two poorly-behaved rescue dogs.

CmoTricentis 2015 - 2017Austin, Texas, UsAfter many years working for large companies, I was looking to do something more entrepreneurial. In previous jobs, I was always happiest when I was building something new. So I thought that a startup could be a good fit for me. That led me to the SaaS company QASymphony (now called Tricentis) as the CMO. When I joined the company in 2015, it was a scrappy startup with about $1 million in annual recurring revenue and 15 employees. By the time I left, we had grown to over $15 million, had +100 employees and raised over $50 million in funding from BIP Capital, Fulcrum Equity and Insight Venture Partners. It was really a fun ride. Some of my key responsibilities and accomplishments are below:• Revenue generation: Built a lead generation engine that has generated over 75% of new business revenue for the company and grown our ARR 400% over a two-year period. • Digital presence: Manage and track all aspects of QASymphony’s digital presence – website, social, SEO, PPC, display, content, retargeting, etc. Monthly website users have increased over 300% and inbound inquiries have increased 270% since 2015. • Brand awareness: Actively promote the QASymphony brand through different channels including events, trade shows, awards, media and industry analysts. Secured prominent stories about QASymphony in top publications like TechCrunch, VentureBeat, Fast Company and Forbes.• User Conference: Created QASymphony’s user conference called “Quality Jam”. The event drew 150 attendees in 2016 and grew to over 400 attendees in 2017. 82% of attendees rated Quality Jam “Very Good” to “Excellent” and 94% would recommend it to a colleague.• Marketing operations: Responsible for selection, implementation and utilization of a large MarTech stack that includes Salesforce, Pardot, Bizible, Node, FullCircle and DemandBase. -
