As signal Supervisor I am responsible for all maintenance of the signaling system on the Oakville Subdivision, I ensure all GI tests are complete on time, Scheduling man power to meet testing requirements. I am responsible for creating Work Methodology plans for extra work, writing crossing deactivation's, writing Indication bypass plans for switch.

As the leading signal maintainer I also filled the role of Signal Inspector for GI testing across the Oakville Subdivision Including relay inspections, insulation testing, and Made Grounds tests. I was also on call across the Go Transit system to help with any trouble calls, training on equipment, and regular maintenance and upgrades. Also planning small.

Oakville And Uxbridge Subdivisions

As a signal maintainer I was responsible for ensuring all GI testing was compliant on all signaling equipment in my assigned territory, as well and general maintenance of the equipment and sites. I was also responsible for staying up to date with all GI and SCP updates. I was also responsible for diagnosing and repairing any failures of the equipment.

Union Station Rail Corridor - John St

As a signal maintainer I was responsible for ensuring all equipment assigned to myself was tested in accordance with the CN GI primarily in the John Street Interlocking plant. I was also responsible for other preventative maintenance including painting signals and switches. Maintaining the mechanical Interlocking machine. Troubleshooting and repairing.

As a signal Mechanic I was part of the construction gangs working on the Double Slip Switch renewal program in all Interlocking plants in the USRC. I was part of the construction of the DSS installing the switch machine and all the rods, adjusting the switch for proper operation. Running cables, testing insulation resistance, wiring switch junction boxes.
