Jeffrey Barta – Corporate Director of PurchasingMr. Barta attended the University of Nevada in Las Vegas where he received a business degree in Hotel Management. Before joining Benjamin West Mr Barta worked with Purchasing Management International, where he completed, the pre-opening FFE & OSE purchasing for 6 John Q. Hammons Embassy Suites Hotels, thru out the Country.Previous to that Mr. Barta was a Director of Purchasing with Ritz Carlton Hotels, headquartered in New York. Mr. Barta opened 6 properties with Ritz Carlton in 2 years in Sarasota, Coconut Grove, Naples and Orlando, Florida, and the 2 flagship properties at Battery Park, and Central Park, in New York City. Mr. Barta has over 20+ years experience in hospitality purchasing as a Director of Purchasing including work with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts in the Caribbean, The Remington Hotel in Houston, Texas, the Excalibur Hotel and Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. In addition, he has worked with Boca Raton Hotels & Clubs, Doral Resorts of Florida, Boyd Group and Deltona Corporation. Mr. Barta is a member of Purchasing Managers Association (PMA), Food Services Executive Association (FSEA) and an Allied Member of American Culinary Federation. as well as a member of ISHP (International Society of Hospitality Purchasers).Specialties: Has Opened up over 28 Hotel properties in my career.
