*Responsible for overall loan operations management and oversight of the mortgage, consumer, leasing, and commercial loans operation staff*Duties of the Loan Operations department included the processing, servicing, accounting, reporting functions, and customer service*Supervised all aspects of the Loan Operations department including booking of loans, posting of payments, payoffs, escrow accounting, escrow analysis, draw requests, balancing, disbursement of loan funds, verification of outgoing wires*Planned, assigned, and directed work; employee performance management; addressed complaints and resolved both team and interdepartmental problems that arose.*Improved efficiency immensely by implementing a more structured environment and a clearer understanding of duties among team members. *Created workflows using Microsoft Teams which allowed members of multiple departments to easily route work to one another efficiently without fear of something being lost in email*Placed in charge of financial tracking for our commercial customers and created a series of sheets in Microsoft Excel to assist with tracking of customer information and creation of request letters while also maintaining a numerical count of ticklers per loan officer*Audited morning reports for all of the previous day's loan activity looking for discrepancies and addressing issues when found*Responsible for completing the loan department's section of the quarterly Call report, our bank's weekly 'mini-Call' report; and the monthly Board report for our bank President*Update loan rates in bank's lending software weekly*Manage and Maintain the banks collateral vault and records
