Perform research for clinical pharmacists as needed for clinical interventions, mediate patient centered issues for the palliative care team, oversee IV room operations and make recommendations for process improvement as needed, troubleshoot various operational pharmacy issues.

Perform competitive intelligence assessments pertaining to labeling, disease state awareness (unbranded) promotions, as well as branded promotions; assess competitors use of social media in aforementioned contexts, analyze and interpret FDA guidance documents regarding current labeling standards for approved drug products, analyze warning and enforcement letters as distributed by the Office of Prescription Drug Promotion (OPDP) and Health and Human Services (HHS), respectively. Also, participated in various company database building activities.

Contact physicians with clinical interventions, ensure appropriate filling of prescription orders, mediate insurance based issues, provide clinical information to patients received via walk-ins and phone calls.

Provide information to patients regarding warfarin interactions, Low molecular weight heparin bridging protocols for both pre-surgical and sub-therapeutic INR situations, importance of INR testing, and general patient counseling and clinical problem solving.
