Remote Desktop/System Administrator
• My role as a Remote Desktop/System Administrator is to manage multiple client’s IT needs. This spans across desktop level administration to server and network system needs and other systems. I actively work with clients directly onsite and remotely to ensure they maintain high levels of service to achieve their business goals. I’ve also worked on many projects for customers involving deploying new systems, system migrations, upgrades, creating IT policies, and office moves.• I work with multiple team members at Noynim to assist all our client and business needs. Throughout the day I assist my colleagues with different issues on hardware and software applications when needed. I’m also responsible for maintaining one of our security applications for Noynim and our clients.• I’ve gained many new skills being exposed to each client’s requests/needs and environments including Noynim’s. Ranging from SSO implementation, email security systems, managing domains/SSL certs, MDM systems, new types of security applications, pen testing tools, and scripting.
It Manager/Windows System Administrator
• I was selected to be the IT Manager/Windows System Administrator when the company opened the Verizon Wireless project site in Highlands Ranch. My primary role was to administer the information technology and equipment needs to meet a 99% service level agreement (SLA). My responsibilities included installation, administration, and maintenance of the servers, workstations, networks, and general equipment. To ensure the SLA was met, I proactively monitored, performed maintenance, and worked with other members of my team while staying current with the latest technology. As a result, we maintained a near %99 SLA.• As the Domain Administrator, I administered Windows Server 2012 R2 servers, Active Directory, and Group Policy, and numerous Windows 7 workstations. In addition, I handled image creation and deployment of application, configuration, and software updates that adhered to Verizon Wireless client objectives. By proactively keeping users, computers, and group policies current, the entire system ran efficiently with minimal disruptions.• Another responsibility was working with the network team sharing needed requirements in response to changes in the business. When I needed a change, I would reach out to the network engineers and have them configure the network per industry standard with a logical layout and my needs. Once I had the site configured adequately only minor changes were minimal.• Other responsibilities included supporting all help desk tickets for the site. This ranged from keyboard issues, printer problems, to floor changes. I would regularly check for new tickets and address them with high priority which kept operations running smoothly without many problems. Additionally, I compiled required reports for company and Verizon Wireless client audits. I kept that data handy so I could meet deadlines on time which was never a problem.
Owner
• I successfully acquired 50+ clients while building my business up through reliability and good customer relationships.• Supported all customer’s needs ranging from hardware to software with all or any operating systems and applications used. (i.e. All Windows OS’s, MAC, and Linux environments.) I was regularly challenged with customer needs which grew me in the field. I did not leave the job until the customer’s issues were resolved and followed up to ensure satisfaction.• I troubleshot multiple issues with Windows, Microsoft Office, including security/viral/malware problems. To stay on top of these problems I researched and stayed knowledgeable in the field.• In addition, I supported small office home office networks for homes and small businesses. This could be installing a new setup, fixing a problem, or redesigning the entire network to meet the home or business needs. Often, I would get the home or business setup with a minimum of callbacks required.
It Desktop Administrator
• I was selected to be the Desktop Administrator for the company’s Verizon Wireless project in Wichita Falls, TX maintaining the workstations and servers. This involved imaging, application installation, security, and windows updates per the client needs. I worked with my team to successfully achieved maintaining a near 99% service level agreement (SLA) during my tenure at this site.• As a desktop administrator, I handle Windows XP/7 desktop issues, printers, and equipment to ensure the success of the Verizon Wireless project. I addressed customer issues with upmost priority building a relationship the end user could confidently rely on. I tended to be the first expert employees would reach out for to resolve their problems.• Even though my job duties were a desktop support position I quickly elevated to a domain administrator through the demands of the jobs and my enthusiasm for the trade. This came from my work ethics, goals, and passion to see this company and myself succeed. Eventually this led to me becoming a IT Manager/Windows System Administrator officially for the site. We worked in a Windows 7, Windows Server 2003 R2, and Windows Server 2008 R2 environment. This is where I got most of my experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, Virtualization with VMWare including Citrix XenServer, and Scripting. My role also included administering and managing Exchange Server 2003, Backup Exec 2010, and some networking. All these different items I learned successfully in a short amount of time and led to the success of the site.
Customer Service Representative
• My selected role at AT&T was to handle agents and customers on a regular basis with credit checks, activations, and collections while efficiently meeting company goals. I consistently met monthly key objectives ensuring AT&T had a good customer service experience.• To meet key objectives AT&T trained me on multiple proprietary systems, customer service skills, and work ethics. These skills have been helpful in building the individual I am and were great tools to make ATT successful also.• In addition, I took on other special projects such as working on reports, assisting other employees with their calls, and launching new equipment for the company. For going beyond what my job required I was selected to earn the company’s Service Excellence Award recognizing the hard work I put into the company to ensure its success.
