Audit casework of underwriting staff. Develop and provide training for underwriting staff. Provide one on one training and support to individual in Team Leader role. Provide case referral support and second-signature support for casework.

Responsibilities: Manage all day to day activities for a group of Underwriters. Provide co-sign support as needed. Underwriting approval authority: $5,000,000 Life insurance and $8,000/month Disability Income. I am involved with the development of training programs for the Department. Act as underwriting liaison with our new business; case management and wholesaling groups to assure quality process is maintained. Provide support to Claims Department with contestable claim review. Partner with field force and field leaders to promote insurance sales and help resolve service concerns. Partner with Wholesalers to help drive business volumes. Involved in interview/hiring process across the Department. Project work: Team work distribution; development of Underwriting Associate position; internal program to enhance use of reinsurers; electronic submission of application.
