Senior test engineer for manufacturing and operations of the Capnography medical device sensing product line. Team leader for all processes in production line failures. Project manager for a 15 member cross-functional team that addressed a medical device mechanical durability issue. Project manager and operations team lead to determine root cause and required design changes to improve device durability. Presented status to site leadership team on a weekly basis. Technical project team lead on a team that transferred medical device manufacture to an overseas contract manufacturer. Responsible for supporting the device manufacturing line. Lead test engineer for Medical Sensor Device Development (NPI). Responsible for design, development, integration and validation of semi-automated test fixtures/equipment for medical devices. Fixtures and equipment consisted of National Instruments I/O, flow controllers, solenoid valves and pressure gages to deliver different CO2 concentrations of gasses to the device under test. Designed semi-automated 8 channel electrical test station, semi-automated 8 channel calibration and gas accuracy test station, and semi-automated 28 channel infra-red emitter burn-in test station. Test equipment validation per FDA 21 CFR 820, IQ/OQ/PQ. Documented test fixtures per 21 CFR 820 and created requirements, tool documentation, validation plans and protocols, and summary reports.

Senior engineer for a consulting company providing test hardware design and software development services. Designed and developed an in-line high speed capacitance measurement system that measured 90 capacitors/min and performed real time SPC analysis of the measurement data. Created a PC based control system used to study and alignment sensor for a photolithography tool. Software programming in LabVIEW and Visual Basic along with GUI design and control algorithm development. Software driver development for VXI data acquisition models.

Designed and developed diagnostic instrumentation used to perform field diagnostic procedures on photolithography equipment. Responsibilities included hardware and software definition, system design, analog design, software development using LabVIEW and Visual Basic. Created electrical and mechanical drawings and provided manufacturing instructions in the form of operation sheets. Instructed field engineers in the use of diagnostic troubleshooting procedures.

Designed, developed, and installed electronic and hydro-mechanical test equipment for the commercial and military aerospace industry. Responsibilities included analog/digital circuit and systems design, software requirements definition, software development using LabVIEW and HP Basic, GUI design, project scheduling and customer liaison.
