Green Star Food Service is a food wholesaler servicing Sydney and the surrounding regions. The company supplies a wide range of poultry, different types of red meat and seafood, and selected smallgoods to our customers such as restaurants, supermarkets, butcheries, and food processors. With a fleet of self-owned and managed refrigerated trucks, and a 24/7 ordering system, we strive to deliver the freshest food to the hands of our customers. I was engaged to advise the owner/founder and prepare the next generation of the family as part of succession planning.My deliverable includes:• A strategic transformation plan to convert the family run business into a successful SME. • Appointed external advisors in HR, WHS and IT to build the foundation for compliance. • Supported the commissioning of a new production facility going live in September 2021.• Recruited a new finance team to ready the business for the next phase of their growth.

DMG Fine Wine, headquartered in Sydney, has 2 business divisions – Handpicked Wines and Baijiu. We are the grower, producer, wholesaler, distributor and retailer of Handpicked Wines as well as the sole importer of Kweichow Moutai in Australia and New Zealand. Handpicked owns vineyards across Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia and worked with growers from Italy, France and Spain to produce wines from key regions in those countries too. As General Manager, I oversee daily operations across Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance. During my current tenure, I have • Transformed a family wine and spirit business and achieved CAGR of ~30% in turnover of wines.• Built an engaged, passionate, loyal and skilled multicultural workforce.• Expanded into new export markets across Asia and USA. • Restructured the organisation to create clearly defined roles and responsibilities to strategically focus the entire business on brand building and product quality.• Formalised business processes and introduced internal controls to streamline growth. • Revamped Handpicked Wines with new packaging and setting premium price tiers.• Collaborate with Fashion, Arts and Creatives businesses to reach target markets. • Developed a cultural partnership program to improve brand awareness with key influencers.• Implemented a corporate repositioning program with defined reputation management strategies, resulting in industry accolades such as "Marketer for the Year” and Finalist for EY’s “Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2019, and 5-star Winery status from James Halliday awarded since 2015.• Expanded our production footprint by acquiring 3 additional vineyards in Australia and establishing long term grower relationships in Europe and USA.

Since my relocation back to Australia, I have been focusing on supporting clients on HR due diligences and management of the HR work stream under the PMO during a M&A transaction. I have worked with both overseas and local clients such as BHP Billiton, Noble Group and Caterpillar, Archer Capital, Marubeni Corporation and Primo Smallgoods, to name a few.

After the merger of the Linde Gas and BOC Gases businesses in China, I assumed a regional role in Human Resources, reporting directly to the Regional Business Unit Head (RBUH) for Greater China (China, Hong Kong and Taiwan).
