CurrentI am an experienced trial lawyer with a diverse complex civil litigation practice. I have extensive experience litigating and counseling clients in the areas of product liability, construction, business disputes, personal injury and real property.My product liability experience includes an emphasis on the defense of claims against manufacturers of consumer products, commercial and industrial equipment. I represent companies before the Consumer Product Safety Commission in connection with product recalls and reporting activities, and have successfully negotiated with the CPSC to narrow the scope of several voluntary recalls involving a wide range of products. I advise clients on the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act, the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act, the Federal Hazardous Substances Act, and the Flammable Fabrics Act, as well as the CPSC’s consumer safety complaint database—www.SaferProducts.gov. I regularly advise product manufacturers on FTC regulations and warning, labeling, guarantee and warranty issues, and hav drafted warnings, warranties, guarantees, product instructions for dozens of consumer goods companies and other aspects of risk management.I also represent manufacturers of consumer goods, pharmaceutical drugs, medical devices and asbestos-containing products in cases throughout the country. I handle complex personal injury suits involving alleged catastrophic injuries, wrongful death and survivorship claims. I practice throughout New England and have managed product liability litigation for companies on a national level.On behalf of construction industry clients, I prosecute and defend a wide array of significant claims involving alleged construction defect, construction accidents and contractual disputes. In the real property context, I prosecute commercial and complex residential foreclosure actions on behalf of financial institutions and other entities.
