CurrentMr. Gregg joined McCarter & English, LLP and became the Managing Partner of its DC office on February 1, 2014. He had been a principal in the law firm of Miller, Balis & O'Neil, P.C. in Washington, D.C. since 1992. He has represented primarily local gas distribution companies in regulatory and transactional matters arising from the unbundling of the interstate natural gas pipeline industry. He serves as General Counsel to the American Public Gas Association. Mr. Gregg advises clients on energy contracts, including prepaid natural gas agreements. Mr. Gregg serves as the Special Gas Counsel to the Public Energy Authority of Kentucky, which has issued nearly $3 billion of municipal bonds to purchase long-term supplies of natural gas since 1998. In 2003, Mr. Gregg assisted three South Carolina public gas authorities form the Nation’s newest public gas joint action agency, the Patriots Energy Group.
