My current title is a Solutions Architect. I was brought onboard at Toshiba Business Solutions Hawaii in 2003 to help direct the company in a new direction, integrating large multifunctional copiers with software.My job is to develop and implement software that evolves around document tracking, capturing, and storing. In other words, my work involves the digital life cycle of a document.Since 2003, I have managed and installed software from enterprise businesses across the country, large inter-island schools to small garage startups. I have been a part of the PALS Hawaii family since 2013.Through PALS, I teach an after-school class on game design with an emphasis on community and place based development. The projects and experiences we develop are tailored to the local audience.We develop both analog and digital games. Some our projects include: An augmented reality game, various web, IOS apps and board games.We program in C++, JS, CSS, HTML5, and Python.Engines used to make games: Unity & Ranvier Mud.

I served as the Interactive Curator for TedX Honolulu from 2014-2016. My role was to curate noteworthy experiences in between speaker presentations.My first year, I managed the online experience team. Our goal was to manage all online interaction.My second year was my most ambitions project to date. My role as the Interactive Director was to gamify the event. When an attendee arrives, they would be assigned to a tribe. Each tribe is associated with a speaker. We made some exceptions, if the attendee wanted to be part of a speakers tribe, for example. Then, in between talks, each attendee would participate with various activities outside of the hall. These included various board games, hip hop rap-alongs, meditation circles, interactive art and more. The attendees would then receive beans (yes, beans!) that would then be deposited into their teams bank and fed into a Data Visualization, based on the code that was designed by Swell @ Jesse Wells.com. I created a SQL hook and incorporated d3 on the front end.
