I’m currently Senior Director of Core Systems at Symphony Health Solutions a healthcare analytics, application, and consulting company. In this role I lead the company’s’ enterprise data integration effort, including innovation, profiling, ETL, enrichment, quality control, regulatory compliance, and replication into on premise and cloud based applications and data marts. Competitive AdvantageCompanies need to be information-driven to be competitive in todays’ market. Actionable information is needed to drive better insights, decision making, marketing strategies, and capital investments. OpportunityCreating holistic information technology solutions built on solid, extensible foundations anchored by well understood business requirements, data content, and domain and industry knowledge are key to maintaining competitive advantage. I’ve had the privilege of working with some very creative and smart people who I’ve collaborated with to create a variety of innovative and commercially successful technology solutions. Enterprise data warehouses with 100+ terabytes of unique content providing platforms for growing business into new and existing vertical markets. Identifying, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to allow for processing ever increasing data volumes and enabling faster access, analytics, updates, and information delivery. Building business intelligence solutions on product specific data marts to provide customers with the ability to analyze and segment data in a myriad of ways to make better business and marketing decisions. And, simply always being interested in investigating and prototyping options for using existing data warehouse and data mart content to answer new customer questions.
