Design Manager
Current• Uphold and promote TNTP's brand and brand standards by creating new concepts, curating existing ones, and improving and evolving designs.• Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity, creating various materials for our website, social media, marketing materials, pitch decks, publications, and other collateral.• Ensure alignment with TNTP’s brand, while using design to shape how people emotionally connect with TNTP and understand our work and impact.• Create innovative and inviting design concepts and fully executed designs that can be expressed through TNTP products and platforms and that engage target audiences.• Lead design projects with multiple stakeholders and deliverables spanning print and digital. Identify and manage goals, schedules, scope, and resources. Coordinate internal and external resources in collaboration with colleagues from Communications and around the organization as well as with third-party vendors.• Plan and art direct photo shoots, including making shot lists to ensure shoots result in on-brand and needed photographs. Coordinate with schools and photographers. Collect and organize media release forms. Serve as TNTP’s photographer for select photo shoots.• Coordinate with outside agencies, art services, printers, and other creative vendors as needed, ensuring that all parties understand TNTP’s brand and the project goals.• Manage the work of a select group of temps providing design and formatting work in support TNTP business and client needs.• Utilize feedback and data to understand user experience, identifying lessons learned and opportunities for continuous improvement.
