Although hired into the accounting department I was quickly drawn into the ongoing Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 implementation. I was responsible for fully migrating customers, open receivables, open sales orders, vendors, open payables, open purchase orders, items, beginning inventory, and WIP production orders. I was also the party primarily responsible for most (if not all) aspects of the AX configuration. Installed, deployed, and/or configured third party add-ons including Management Reporter, AX Label, CCH Sales Tax Load Utility, Arbela Security Manager (ASM) and portions of Sandler-Kahne's e-Banking Suite. Created and refreshed multiple AX instances on a recurring basis. Developed Management Reporter reports to replicate legacy system reports as well as additional reports utilizing the newly available data from Dynamics AX. Unofficially acted as AX administrator when necessary. Accounting duties included maintaining bank balances, processing and recording wire transfers, and loosely managing a department of 4 relatively independent employees.
