At AGS I started as a Clerk and moved to the Head Clerk position, managing our team of clerks and interns. I then had the opportunity to act as Interim specialist either managing the book of other specialists when they could not or assisting them when they could not manage their portfolio alone due to news or fast market conditions. I later filled the role of Market Maker trading options in the open outcry environment on the floor of the exchange.
