I’m curious, eager to data dive, and business-focused, which together keeps me exploring for new growth opportunities. Right now, I’m particularly interested in how self-service and driving engagement can create impact. As Director of Product at iRobot, I’ve led services and subscriptions for the company. With a 10+ year career in B2C focused product management, I excel at driving innovative new experiences. From developing and executing product roadmaps, leading cross-functional teams, and using data analytics and qualitative insights to define features, my focus is on improving the user experience and driving impact.Some past projects I’m proud of:Tackling Churn: After becoming the subs & services leader at iRobot, I noticed that their subscription program’s involuntary churn was 10x our voluntary churn, making it by far the biggest drain on our business. I identified two key areas within the user journey that needed help, then revamped these experiences to better meet consumer needs and keep subscribers in the program. This involved reorganizing the site’s information architecture to make it easier to navigate & accomplish tasks as well as adding more touchpoints with clearer calls to action. I launched the new features and we ended up netting a hefty 28% reduction in involuntary churn, greatly impacting the business.Identifying the Key Consumer Need: While at Motorola, the company’s smartphone market share was eroding due to the growth of key competitors like Apple. After conducting extensive consumer research, I uncovered (the now obvious fact) that consumers valued long battery life over a thin design. This led me to make the case to our leadership that we should pack a larger battery into our thin phones to differentiate them, which led to the DROID RAZR MAXX. In the first quarter after launch, it became the only Verizon phone to outsell the iPhone.When I’m not at work, you can very likely find me leading other teams – kids on the soccer field. I’ve been a youth soccer coach in my town for 10 years and truly enjoy helping them progress their skills and have fun.
