About Jeffrey Hamelink

Imagine a world where businesses don’t just sell products or services: they spark change, ignite potential, and create connections that last a lifetime. That’s the world I’m committed to building, and it’s why I do what I do.I’m Jeff and for over 20 years, I’ve been driven by a singular purpose: helping brands unlock their full potential at the intersection of culture, marketing, and technology. As the founder of Small Giants, I’ve built an ecosystem of industry-leading labels that specialize in areas like retail and e-commerce (Direct Impact), HR and recruitment (Hero Hub), and sports and health (Peak Potential). But what really sets us apart? It’s not just our expertise, it’s our philosophy. At Small Giants, we live by three core values:Be True: Authenticity isn’t optional; it’s essential. We help brands tell their real stories, not just the ones that sell.Think Big: Mediocrity has no place here. We challenge our clients to aim higher and dream bigger.Go For It: Ideas are great, but action changes the game. We execute with precision, passion, and purpose. Our approach has led to measurable impact, from skyrocketing e-commerce conversions to reshaping workplace cultures and empowering communities through health and fitness initiatives. But the real magic? It’s the partnerships we build along the way. When I’m not working with brands to craft their next big move, you’ll find me prioritizing what matters most: my family. As a proud husband and father of two, I’m deeply invested in creating a brighter future, not just for my own kids but for the world they’ll inherit. So, why are you here? If you’re ready to transform your brand into a force for good and a driver of change, let’s connect. Together, we’ll ignite your potential and create something extraordinary.Send me a message, and let’s start the conversation.

  • Vodafone
    Senior Sales & Interim Manager
    Vodafone Sep 2002 - Sep 2006
    London, Gb
Working at Vodafone whilst studying at the Erasmus University Rotterdam gave me a great opportunity to bring in practice what I learned during college. My main role was selling mobile phone contracts and delivering service to customers. Besides that I was also responsible for optimizing the rosters and inventory management, setting store targets and communicating them internally, improving results through motivation of team members by daily coaching, training and workshops. I also set-up trainings regarding newly launced services such as push-mail, blackberry, Vodafone Live! for all sales people in the region. During my last year I was part of a research team led by McKinsey & Vodafone head office to restructure the store positioning, look & feel and the way of approaching customers.
  • Domino'S
    Store Manager
    Domino'S Aug 1998 - Aug 2002
    Ann Arbor, Mi, Us
Managing an Al Capone's store (Later renamed to Domino's) was a ideal job to combine with my Marketing Management study in Amsterdam: college until 15:00 and opening the store at 16:00 for business until 22:30. I was end-to-end responsible for the daily business: coordinate, train and motivate the team, provide managing director with analysis and reports. I had to make sure I bought enough supplies to match customer demand and manage inventory & personell costs. And most importantly for customers to still their hunger, make them happy keep them coming back for more! :)At the time I was working at Al Capone's, the pizza delivery business was at a all-time high. So a great experience and opportunity in leading & developing a team in a management role and running a business at a very young age (18). (And a lot of fun! :))
