To innovate change, I utilize my 20+ years of expertise as a teacher, administrator, coach, mentor, and trainer to develop and lead innovative strategies to meet the specific learning needs of students, and staff. Knowing that communication and collaboration are keys to advance progress, I am committed to building partnerships with internal and external entities to provide necessary resource networks to achieve desired outcomes.My work focuses on building kindness, compassion, inclusion, equity, and ways to help and inspire people in and out of education. I love to speak with students and educators about the writing process, building mental health capacity for youth and adults, and SEL as a practice and mindset, not a program. I've written 3 highly acclaimed books; One Drop of Kindness, It’s Me, and Monsters Have Manners.I am an educator, author, and speaker from Northern California. He served in schools as a teacher, Dean of Students, VP, and principal for over 25 years. He has also been a US Olympic Swim Team Alternate, Pan American Games Gold Medalist, and Coach of 4-time Olympian, Jason Lezak.
