Jeffrey Martin, M.D., F.A.C.S., practices at our state-of-the-art facility located in Smithtown. He is a specialist in cataract surgery and laser vision correction, and teaches at several hospitals and universities.Dr. Jeffrey Martin is a board certified ophthalmologist and managing partner of SightMD. His father founded the practice in 1962, and Dr. Martin is proud to have helped it become a regional leader in eye care. A specialist in LASIK and cataracts surgery, Dr. Martin is also the chief of ophthalmology at St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center.Dr. Martin is an assistant clinical professor of ophthalmology at the State University of New York Stony Brook and is chief ophthalmologist at St. Catherine of Sienna Hospital. In addition, he devotes time to teaching resident ophthalmologists at the Northport Veterans Administration Medical Center. For the last several years, Dr. Martin has been selected for inclusion in “Top Doctors: New York Metro Area” by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. He has also been selected to receive “Patient Choice” and “Compassionate Doctor” awards.Dr. Martin is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
