-Promotion and execution of NHL signature events, including all outdoor games, All-Star, Conference Final, Stanley Cup Final, Draft, Awards, Player Media Tours, Rookie Orientation Program, Global Series, China Games and World Cup of Hockey.-Create press releases, media advisories and other communications materials, including talking points for NHL Executives and communications plans for NHL signature events and player development programs.-Act as a liaison between the NHL, its member Clubs, Players, broadcasting rightsholders and members of the media.-Managed all media and public relations for Team Europe at World Cup of Hockey 2016, including team, coaches and management. -Moderate press conferences at all NHL signature events.-Coordinate Player visits to the NHL’s New York City headquarters as part of the NHL Visiting Player Program.-Organized Player and outlet schedules annually for two Player Media Tours, as well as Media Day at All-Star, Stanley Cup Final and Awards, ensuring all Players visited requested rightsholders and general media outlets in a timely manner.-Monitor media coverage of the NHL, its 32 member clubs and the NHL’s initiatives.-Engage with other NHL departments or properties, including Events, NHL.com, Social, Legal, and NHL Network/MLBAM, to ensure effective and compliant media promotion and execution of NHL signature events.-Manage department personnel by training three new full-time employees and assigning projects to seasonal temps and interns.

I started working at Centennial when I was 15 years old. A customer service based job, the club was a second home to me. I served stints on the driving range, pro shop, junior golf academy.

- Prepared and planned events, including tournament qualifiers and championships, MGA/MetLife Youth Clinics, a series of Caddie Academies and charitable Day of Golf, French-American and Carey Cup Am-Am golf outings.- Practitioner of the GOLFWORKS Student Intern Program, maintaining financial records, payroll, and profiles for more than 230 student interns and acting as a liaison to MGA recruiters and over 90 participant clubs.-Selected, supervised, managed and mentored the MGA Foundation’s USGA P.J. Boatwright Jr. Intern annually.- Authored stories featured on MGAgolf.org and published articles in The Met Golfer magazine, wrote and edited press releases as well as content for the website, media guide, and seasonal newsletters.- Oversaw all Foundation fundraising activities, which included managing a donation database and a successful online e-commerce donation system, as well as distribution of acknowledgement/‘Thank You’ correspondence.- Coordinated communications for the MGA’s Capital Campaign and supported various departments at special events, including the Annual Meeting, Met Golf Writers Dinner, Presidents Council and MGA Championships.

This brief internship turned into a full-time position with additional responsibilities (listed above).

Organized, planned and promoted the John Starks Foundation’s Celebrity Casino & Cigar Night, which awards scholarships to NY/Tri-State students who lack financial resources to pursue a college education.

I was most directly involved with the Player Media Tour, which effectively and efficiently marketed NHL story lines and fulfilled the League's business initiatives and promotional needs through the use of the League's top talent and North America's major media outlets. I was responsible for scheduling, coordinating and directing 19 of the NHL’s top players to 18 different media outlets over the span of two days. I was in direct communication with club communications directors, the NHLPA and participating media outlets from the planning stages through the duration of the actual ‘Tour.’
