Serve901 curates service experiences with college student groups to understand and serve with Memphis. Groups learn Memphis’ history, ponder poverty alleviation and reconciliation built around a customized schedule where they partner with non-profit organizations all over the city. Our hope is that through Serve901, Memphis is blessed and more interconnected; tripgoers love Memphis and are catalyzed to live towards a greater good.Before the COVID pandemic interrupted Spring Break 2020, Serve901 was hosting more than 600 participants annually from various universities across the US. Through the 2022-23 school year we saw many alternative break programs were rebuilding. Much of the success of those programs is built on the experiences of their students taking these trips, trips that weren’t happening in 2021 and maybe 2022. We are primed and ready for more groups to come serve in Memphis in the 2023-24 school year!

SOS exists to glorify God by proclaiming the gospel through word and deed through urban home repair camps.• Processed all home repair applications and coordinated over 200 home assessment visits in search for home repair projects. Met and shared the mission of SOS with over 100 residents of impoverished neighborhoods.• Personally raised over $30,000 by presenting written and oral financial proposals to more than 125 prospective donors.• Managed relationships with more than 75 donors via newsletters, personal visits, and phone calls.• Led college students for a total of five weeks in roofing and siding projects.• Recruited and coordinated more than 15 local Memphis churches, in addition to individuals, tosupport our missions camp through volunteer opportunities.• Produced (shot, edited, and presented) more than 15 videos for camp.• Assembled the Homeowner Alumni Committee and facilitated meetings.• Conceptualized, planned, coordinated, and led weekly high school staff discipleship program. Graduated 4 seniors after year long training.• Planned, coordinated speakers, volunteers, and leaders, hosted and taught for high school leadership retreat.

My job responsibilities included taking and uploading pictures at the various attractions, sales, and always "Creating Memories Worth Repeating." I was an integral piece of an 80% sales boost at our Zipline site. After inheriting a system that often was broken (technology hiccups and lack of sales warmth), we innovated the process. I began to participate alongside the guests as they ventured into the beautiful Smokies for their Zipline Tour. Through the shared experience, I was able to interact with guests to learn where they were from and where they were going. This came very naturally to me and our sales became very natural and easy.
