In today's day in age, a video editor doesn't just edit, but they need to know how to film, mix, color, and create at least simple motion graphics. I currently run my own freelance operation in which I'm in charge of all aspects of production. I've also collaborated as part of a team on a multitude of projects, such as commercials, live educational shoots, documentaries, and short films. This includes working on over 20 projects with HCPP, a small boutique production company. I've taken several bootcamps from School of Motion in order to improve my animation skills.When working with clients, the first thing I focus on is ensuring they receive the final product they want. I do this by simply asking questions to ensure we're all on the same page. The information is utilized to create the optimal final product that fits within the budget.

Developed a live streaming green screen solution that was the result of communicating with various local and national equipment vendors. Proficient with GoToMeeting, GoToTraining, and Google Hangouts for live interactive meetings. Created the company's motion graphic brand piece, while overseeing all aspects related to the project, such as coordinating a local artist for voiceover, obtaining all vector assets through shutter stock and layering the elements for use in After Effects, and storyboarding the piece. Coordinated, produced, and edited several customer testimonial videos that required 3 point lighting, off-site location coordination, and separate audio recording.Large responsibility of the role is filming and editing the company's online courses. This requires filming the talent against a green screen backdrop, audio/video syncing in post, obtaining or creating all graphic elements used, as well as, layering them for proper motion manipulation, and keying and animating over 100 elements. My initial duties for this ongoing project required obtaining all of the equipment, which involved conversations with several vendors to ensure we were properly equipped to film in-house. Managed and oversaw the editing of a course that began before I assumed the role. This involved staying in communication with a local freelance artist to ensure it was complete in a timely manner, and it could be uploaded and delivered to our clients. In addition to these projects and responsibilities, I've begun creating and enhancing feedback videos for our clients that they'll receive post-class. These are done as motion typography. In addition, I'm asked to create various digital elements for live on-site presentations, whether it's a short video edit or quick and short motion graphic. I'm the liaison between our company and the company that provides our online course portal.

Another primary responsibility is the training of new employees. I've successful trained over 10 new employees since coming into this role.

Worked with companies with revenues from $1M to $5M that were either current clients or prospects that I was pursuing. Customers ranged from individuals in the medical industry, service industry, manufacturing industry, etc. Our motto is we didn't just want to have a transactional relationship with a client, but rather we wanted to develop a relationship that would go beyond the idea, "Can you give me a loan?". Whether they were a current client or a new prospect, we used as many resources as possible to ensure we understand them and their industry as best as we possibly could. When it came to solutions for customers, we offered them a place to make transactions everyday whether through their regular checking account, providing them with treasury services that would for example help them pay their employees or receive payments from customers, and when the time came provide them a loan that would allow them to buy the piece of equipment they needed, the building they were finally ready to purchase, or a line of credit that they needed to run their business as efficiently as possible.

Facilitated, scheduled, and created campaign activities for each company I was assigned. Part of this was accomplished by working with key people at each company to coordinate the activities. Furthermore, I helped assist other campaign associates.
