• Responsible for the IT operations for the West Coast region which includes the R&D office in San Diego as well as 4 other branch offices in Los Angeles, Irvine, Tacoma, WA and Las Vegas, NV.
• Support virtualized environment using VMWare and HyperV, conduct performance analysis and P2V migrations.
• Provide local and remote administrations of IT infrastructure such as servers, switches, firewalls, routers, SANs, and desktops.
• Manage disaster recovery practices.
• Create project plans and documentations.
• Work with end users to resolve IT related issues.

• Act as the IT Manager in the absence of the IT Manager.
• Coach, mentor and lead System Administrators and Help Desk within a technical team environment.
• Responsible for ensuring that the IT environment meets industry regulations such as NIGC MICS, PCI DSS, and others.
• Plans projects from project definition to completion and ensures that the project is completed on time and in budget.
• Assists with the preparation of the departmental budget. Included variables and complexities such as operational and facilities changes and proposed projects to build realistic budgets with attention to financial.
• Configures and maintains network security by implementing network security best practices such as 802.1x, access lists, vlans, vulnerability assessments, scheduled system updates, and others.

• Provides second level support for advanced user problems related to servers, personal computers and other network devices. Communicates with users during and post problem/issue resolution.
• Responsible for a full server life cycle (specification determination, configuration, administration, maintenance, upgrades, hardware and software ongoing support) on both the production and test environments.
• Responsible for performing the preventative maintenance on all equipment, including the patching and updating of servers and workstations, and anti-virus updates.
• Provides desktop support, server administration, vendor management, and project planning skills as required by the department in order to obtain the goals and objectives.
• Ensures that the equipment inventory is accurate and maintained.
• Utilizes the internal tracking system to create and update work orders.

• Answers the Help Desk incoming phone calls, provides first level support to end users, and utilizes our internal tracking system to create and update work orders.
• Contacts vendors in order to obtain price quotes, researches replacement parts, and obtains RMA instructions for equipment that needs to be repaired.
• Responsible for performing the preventative maintenance on all desktop systems, including applicable operating system and application updates and patches.
• Ensures that department documentation is maintained and that new procedures are adequately documented.
• Provides a high level of customer support to all Casino Pauma’s internal and external customers.
• Responsible for compliance with the Casino's internal control policies and procedures as it relates to the stated job description.
