● Design - my life, my passion.................................................my life, my passion - Communication ●Design has been a part of my life since growing up in the Drafting, Woods, Metals, Electronics and Plastic shops with my Father who was an Industrial Arts Teacher. A Mother who was an English/Journalism Teacher has given me the ability to communicate in many ways, whether it is written, spoken or visual!I am an artistic and creative - meticulous and technical person with many years of experience in the Design, Architectural and Computer fields, making me adaptable to many positions. I have experienced all levels of the design process from Project Manager, Project Designer to Job Captain; whose responsiblities have included Programming, Space Planning, Code Research, Specifications, SD, DD, Construction Documents and Contract Administration. Although my latest position focused more on the technical area, my skills are broad in scope - Project Development, Project Management, Move Management and Facilities Management. That position focused greatly on Healthcare and Corporate Interiors, but I have experience with many other market segments including Hospitality, Food and Retail, etc.Because of my broad familiarity with all aspects of the design process I am often able to bridge the communication and expertise divide between Designers, Architects and Computer/Technical Departments. My extensive knowledge of and experience with Revit and Autocad, my organizational skills and attention to detail are, I believe, especially valuable in all types of positions and an outstanding asset to any company.
