Jeffrey Whitten is a broadcast professional with over 15 years of experience in television and independent film production. Currently, Jeffrey manages 22 West Media at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), where he oversees the Radio, Television, and Magazine branches as the Assistant Director of Student Media.In addition, Jeffrey is a part-time faculty member in the Cinematic Arts Department at CSULB, teaching broadcast production courses covering key topics such as producing, directing, cinematography, audio, lighting, post-production, and broadcast standards.From 2014 to 2024, Jeffrey served as the Television Specialist at Titan Communications, the on-campus television and radio station at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF). In this role, he mentored and trained aspiring filmmakers and journalists through hands-on experience in film, radio, and television production.He holds a bachelor's degree in Film and TV Studio Production from CSULB and a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from CSUF. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering at the University of North Dakota, where he merges his expertise in media with his passion for the environment.
